Wells Turns 4 - A Monster Jam Party

Wells chose a Monster Truck theme for his birthday this year. And, he chose the menu - spaghetti and cheese popcorn - for our 30 guests. He invited two little friends, both of whom were able to attend with their families, in addition to our close family. Rinaldi's parents even drove up from Virginia to celebrate with us. Wells had a blast! We played "Find the Monster Truck" (a game he and I created), pin the wheel on the Monster Truck (a game my mom made) and there was a Grave Digger pinata, at Wells's special request. And, NOT the pull string kind - he wanted the true "swing the bat" kind! Fortunately, there is no damage to report. His actual birthday was the day after the party. We had lunch at Friendly's; the staff sang to him when they brought out his dessert. He was a little embarrassed, but he was also flattered, I think.
