For Wells, the much anticipated opening day at our neighborhood pool finally arrived. I promised him we could go after Maddox's nap. Oh, the excitement! The water was definitely chilly, and the pool was definitely NOT crowded, and I was definitely on edge about keeping my eyes glued to two non-swimmers, but we all had fun splashing around in the shallow water. Initially, Maddox wasn't much of a fan; he kept walking to the gate and nodding "yes" when I asked him if he wanted to go home. But, he came around and ended up wanting to hold Wells's hand to walk in to the water, which was cute.
Of course, even the shortest pool trip isn't complete without snack time!
